The class begins with soothing music to clear the mind and quiet the body, followed by warm-up movements, balance and weight bearing exercise and breathing awareness.
A portion of the class also includes chair yoga techniques followed by the practice of yoga as a (classical yoga postures) both standing & on the mat.
Benefits are numerous, including but not limited to, increasing circulation, lubricating joints, improving balance and posture, creating mindfulness, improving flexibility, breathing awareness, stress reduction, increasing muscle strength and endurance, engaging mind and spirit.
The only equipment needed is a mat. All levels are welcome.

Perfect for active older adults who are looking for a modified Zumba class that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity.
How it Works
The design of the class introduces easy-to-follow Zumba choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion an coordination. Come ready to sweat, and prepare to leave empowered and feeling strong.
Class focuses on all elements of fitness: cardiovascular, muscular conditioning, flexibility and balance!
Strength & Stretch

This is a combination of simple, strengthening exercises with gentle stretches and basic Yoga poses.
Light 1-3 pound weights are used the first half of the class. We finish with gentle stretches and basic Yoga poses.

Train Skeletal muscles to enhance strength and endurance. This class offers weights/based resistance training.
Fall Prevention Exercise Classes

These classes are designed for people of all fitness levels. Each class will include warm-up and stretching, structured exercise and functional activity, group exercise and a cool down.

Line Dancing is one of the best activities for total body/mind wellness. It's an excellent low-impact weight bearing activity that's great for improving balance and coordination, and reducing stress. Learning and repeating new steps keeps the mind active, and keeps the body moving and improving. Most of all it's about having a good time in a supportive, social environment. Simple step-by-step instructions make it easy and fun. Wear comfortable, layered clothing and leather-soled (preferred) or rubber-soled shoes.

Lean how to tap dance. A type of dance in which the rhythm is kept by the noise of the dancer's shoes on the floor. All levels are welcome. Improve balance and rhythm. Tap shoes available for purchase through instructor.
